About iMPOWER

iMPOWER provides consulting services to local government. Our consulting services range from strategy development through to helping clients successfully implement change within their organisations. We provide our clients with a range of competencies and skills across a set of topic areas on the theme of transformation.

Our involvement in local government / national projects

iMPOWER has a strong track record of working successfully with a wide range of councils in the local government community and we have worked with the majority of the larger English authorities (county councils, unitary authorities, metropolitan authorities and London boroughs) over the last 5 years. We have been involved in structuring and defining the government connect programme. As well as being involved with five of the national projects, we have worked with a number of clients to help them develop a more precise understanding of how they could maximise the benefits of the outputs of the ODPM's National Projects programme. More recently we have supported the development of the online Product Catalogue for National Projects which will be able to search for products that help with specific Priority Outcomes or Efficiency Review categories, enabling local authorities and suppliers to gain a better understanding of how individual products and local authority experience can be used to meet Government targets.

KoKo Union

KoKo Union is a UK based e-HR consulting and services business helping clients make sense of e-HR systems and shared services. Its core offering is its comprehensive library of integrated e-HR process designs, specifications and user documentation accelerating the design stage of an e-HR project and increasing system performance.

KoKo Union is proud to have contributed to the national e-service delivery standards project for human resources by designing the architecture for the standards and authoring their content. This architecture and content were based on KoKo Union's extensive experience of e-HR implementations and leveraged its library of e-HR process designs.

KoKo Union's process library includes some 300 process-workflows in an integrated, multi-client and multi-variant structure that was especially developed to enable rapid design customisation and the development of process-specific user support documentation. In addition to increasing an e-HR project's speed and quality, KoKo Union's library leads to increased user buy-in and self-sufficiency. It thereby supports the improvement of efficiency and the delivery of a good return on an e-HR project investment.
